Paul Lee served as a student editor at SHARIAsource during his time at Harvard Law School. At Harvard, he completed a research project on Islamic finance and securities regulation in the Dubai International Financial Centre as the recipient of the Cravath International Fellowship and the Program in Islamic Law (formerly the Islamic Legal Studies Program) Student Travel Grant. He previously worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation. He graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2015, after which he joined Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP as an associate.
