The map likewise indicates significant historical and religious sites in the Hejaz (modern-day Western Saudi Arabia, including Mecca and Medina), including battle sites like Badr and Khaybar as well as geographical demarcations of the Hajj such as Yalamlam and Dhãt al-'Irq.
