The prosecution submitted that the accused was found to be facilitating gambling activities, in contravention of arts 5 and 23(1) of Aceh Qanun No. 13 of 2003 on Gambling. Pursuant to art 11(4) of Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Authority, and art 16 of Law No. 14 of 1970 on Judicial Authority Principles, however, the court dismissed the case on the grounds that the prosecution had failed to ensure the attendance of the accused in court.
