Indonesian Council of Ulama Fatwa on Prayers and Fasting in Areas Where Daytime and Nighttime Are Not of Equal Length

This fatwa states that prayer (shalat) and fasting times in areas in which daytime and nighttime are not of equal length are to be adjusted to accord with the local time of the nearest place where daytime and nighttime are of equal length.
