Connell Monette

Connell R. Monette serves as the President of the American College Casablanca. His major areas of research interests include religion, history, and education. He previously taught at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane from 2007 to 2019, as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, and as the Mohammed VI Library Associate Director. Monette is co-edited the English translation of the Royal Moroccan Edition of Imam Malik’s Muwaṭṭaʾ with Mohammad Fadel, published by the Program in Islamic Law and Harvard University Press in 2019. He received a PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto in 2008.
