Purwokerto Religious Court Decision No. 2555 of 2014: Agreement Reached Through Mediation

The defendants, following formal mediation, agreed to settle on the following terms:
- To pay their primary debt to the plaintiff of IDR 935,224,710, comprising their primary debt (IDR 799,902,502,508), profit arrears (IDR 91,322,202.98), and plaintiff's legal fees (IDR 44 million), payable by 15 March 2015;
- To make payment directly to the plaintiff, or through their legal advisor or the Purwokerto Religious Court registrar, including the necessary stamp duty;
- In the event the defendants were unable to make payment, they were to grant the plaintiff permission to auction their secured assets, namely, a parcel of land;
- The proceeds from any auction would be used to cover the defendants' debt of IDR 935,224,710, with any remaining monies to be transferred to the defendants; and
- Any incidental costs incurred by the plaintiff were to be borne by the defendants.
The court approved the settlement and ordered the defendants to pay costs.
