The appellant sought to challenge Malang Religious Court Decision No. 915 of 2015. The court, however, dismissed the appeal on the same grounds as the majority in the decision of the court of first instance. It also found that the issue pertaining to wasiat wajibah and inheritance for adopted children, as expressed in the dissenting opinion in the initial decision, to be irrelevant.
