The plaintiff submitted that he had entered into a murabahah financing agreement with the defendant, pursuant to which the defendant had received IDR 7 million and would repay to the plaintiff IDR 8,596,000 (IDR 7 million as the principle, and IDR 1,596,000 as the margin). The defendant had then subsequently defaulted on his repayment obligations, and still owed the defendant IDR 5,730,400. In total, the plaintiff submitted that he had suffered IDR 15,730,400 in material damages (including legal fees), and IDR 5 million in immaterial damages.
The plaintiff then, based on counsel from the court, withdrew his application, having apparently resolved the dispute in a familial manner.
