Pati Regency Regulation No. 22 of 2002 on Alcohol

This regional regulation states, in its preambular statement, that alcohol, among other things, is contrary to religious values. The regulation prohibits all persons and entities from distributing, stockpiling, selling, carrying, providing, or serving alcoholic beverages (art 5). Alcohol is, however, permitted for the purposes of religious ritual (art 7).
