This regional regulation places a prohibition on gambling in the municipality of Bogor. In its preambular statement, states that Bogor municipality upholds religious values and public life norms. Moreover, that gambling is a crime that contravenes law, religion, and morality, and has the potential to disturb social peace and can give rise to social problems. Contravention of this regulation can result in a maximum prison sentence of six months, or a maximum monetary penalty of IDR 50 million (art 13).
