The appellant sought to challenge Decision: 0348/Pdt.G/2014/PA.Pkl. of the Pekalongan Religious Court (lower court), which had dismissed his claim. The court, however, upheld the decision of the lower court, finding inconsistencies in the appellant's initial submission. Moreover, it concurred with the lower court that the respondents were entitled to auction the appellant's leveraged properties after the appellant had defaulted on scheduled repayments payable pursuant to a murabahah credit facility granted to it by the first respondent.
