This statute defines what is meant by narcotics, and, among other narcotics-related topics, regulates the production, importation and exportation, dissemination, storage and reportage, government monitoring, thereof, as well as drug abuse treatment and rehabilitation, distruction of illicit substances, and criminal investigations into narcotics-related crime. It replaces Law No. 22 of 1997.
