The parties were married on 31 August 2004 and had one child. For the first two years of their marriage the parties had lived together in a rental property on a university campus, after which they separated indefinitely. After inspecting the plaintiff's claim, however, the court determined that the plaintiff's place of residence was outside the bounds of its jurisdiction and, therefore, dismissed the claim.
