Emily O'Dell

Emily Jane O'Dell is a past editor at SHARIAsource. She previously served as a Fellow in Islamic Law at Yale Law School; taught at the Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, the American University of Beirut, and elsewhere. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and the Humanities Center. She received an MA, MFA, and PhD from Brown University, and an additional MA in Central Asian Studies from Columbia University.
